HILLROY

HILLROY is a mid-length experimental film produced by LUCIDLAND.

After her mother’s death, Louise follows a huntress into the mists of Limburg, where the forest breathes, the past is given a body, and grief begins to glow like desire.

The project has been developed and supported through several international labs, funds and residencies. It won the Script Pitch Award at the Crossborder Film Conference 2024 and was selected for Bridge Lab by Playlab Films in Spain. Earlier development was supported by REwriteIT Lab, the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts, Limburg Film Fund, VEVAM Directors NL and Sardegna Film Commission.
